RMSS Drama

We helped promote and sell tickets for the drama students: Dec. 13, 2023

In 2023, we were able to donate $5174 to Santas Anonymous!

 Stage North Community Projects

Legacy Centre Lighting upgrades: With financial support from The Government of Alberta (CFEP grant), the Elks Club of Slave Lake, the Rotary Club of Slave Lake, Select Rentals, and Double B, $20,000 worth of upgrades and maintenance happened in the Legacy Centre. Existing lights were maintained, re-focussed and re-positioned, new LED lights were installed, and “movers” were installed in front of the stage for greater flexibility and impact during productions.

In support of live performance, Stage North assists groups by helping to sell tickets on our Showpass site. Dance Creations is one of these groups.

When possible, Stage North partners with other community groups such as Slave Lake Region Tourism Society to host events or concerts. In the summer of 2023, we helped to facilitate a children’s performer for Beach Fest. In the summer of 2022, we helped to facilitate street performers, and the Streetheart concert.

Award!

We were delighted to receive the “Spirit of Slave Lake” award from the Chamber of Commerce in 2022.

Coffeehouse

Volunteer performers, and donated silent auction items were part of a fun night out, as we helped Santas Anonymous 2021 in the Slave Lake region. In 2021, over $3000 was donated, and a pile of toys was delivered next door to the Friendship Centre.
